Volume weight

Calculate the chargeable weight of your courier shipment in just a few steps. Please note that the dimensions of the packages may also play a role in the calculation of the shipment costs.

If the volume of a package is higher than the actual weight, the calculation is based on the so-called volume weight. It is used to calculate the chargeable weight of a shipment taking into account the dimensions.

Volume weight in kg = (length x width x height in cm) / 5000
